Mandy and Scott were planning a classy, yet whimsical wedding in Sedona as they prepared to say their vows overlooking the red rocks of Arizona. Their color palette was full of whites, soft blues, pops of navy and silver; which paired perfectly with our Starry Night invitation collection.
We worked closely with Mandy to customize a previous invitation suite design to make it their own. As we updated all of their information on their invitation, rsvp and detail cards, we also explored new paper options and chose a soft, white cotton. In addition to their paper change, we also brought in a pop of metallic with silver invitation envelopes.
Once their invitation suites were ready for mailing, we continued to work with Mandy to create matching signage for their ceremony and reception at the Sedona Golf Resort. She wanted to be sure that everything for their special day felt cohesive, so we carried the starry night theme over onto their signs. We created a small welcome sign for their entry table and a larger program sign to highlight the order of events for the day. The details for their reception included a custom seating chart and dinner menu sign to let their guests know what was on the buffet.
One of our favorite details that we worked with Mandy to create were matching thank you cards that were placed at each guest’s seat. These cards shared a friendly thank you with their guests and ended with a quote that we loved, “The stars tell us stories, and we thank you for being a part of ours.” A wedding reception can be very busy for the bride and groom as they chat with each of their guests, so we applaud their decision to place these on their tables.
Their entire wedding came together beautifully, embracing the whimsical starry night theme at every turn. Their floral bouquets and arrangements were stunning; using white roses and anemones, dusty miller, and even big blue sea holly, which looks like blue stars. Their cake was adorned with edible silver flakes and flowers to match their bouquets, as it was topped with a “It’s written in the stars” cake topper. Mandy and Scott didn’t miss a single detail as they were planning their day and it created a beautiful fairy-tale wedding under the stars.
As you look through some highlights of the wedding day below, let us know what your favorite details are. Did you love their flowers, their invitations, her dress or the gorgeous view from their ceremony site? Let us know in the comments below!
And of course, if you’re planning to work a theme into your wedding, let us know! We’d love to bring those details into your stationery.
Working with Chelsea and her team was so easy!
It felt like I had my very own personal graphic designer for my wedding! We used the starry night collection for our wedding invitation stationary. I fell in love with the design and Chelsea was able to create matching signage for my wedding. We had a menu sign, table number sign, program sign, and welcome sign. We also had matching thank you cards for the table to keep the theme consistent throughout. Most of the signs were on foam core board and they were perfect and Chelsea was able to work with us to get us a fair price for everything. It all turned out so beautiful and we received so many compliments. I would highly, highly recommend Chelsea and her team!
