As 2019 has officially came to a close, I thought it was about time to get our blog a little more updated with all of the styled shoots that we have been a part of over the past year. So, over the coming weeks I will be recapping all of the amazing events that we have had the opportunity to be a part of in 2019, and highlighting the unique wedding invitation collections that we crafted for each one.

First up is a colorful boho brides dream wedding at Bansen Farms in Gastonia, NC. We were contacted by Madison of Madison Moseley Events to take part in this styled shoot as we worked to bring the photographers vision of a colorful and modern shoot to a boutique farm. When Madison reached out during the summer months, I was still at home on maternity leave with our son, but reassured her that my team and I would make this happen and it was just what we needed to get us back in the groove of things after a little time off.

Once we had our inspiration board in hand, we got busy designing an entirely new collection. We decided to put together an invitation, RSVP card, custom envelopes for each piece and a coordinating menu. We used bold black circles and dots layered between bright pink brush strokes to add depth and interest to the design. We paired the bright, abstract design with a clean modern font to keep all of the visuals very easy to read.

Skipping over to the shoot, you couldn’t have asked for a more typical August day in North Carolina. Humid was the word of the day as we worked through the heat in Gastonia. We were one of the first few vendors to arrive and began walking around the venue to take a peek into this brand new space, and you guys. It’s the most amazing space! The farmhouse itself is an Airbnb that you can rent, while the barn venue sits on the back of the property. It could be pulled right from the pages of Magnolia magazine. Shiplap fills the modern farmhouse where our models were getting ready and let me be sure to add that the Bansen team didn’t miss a beat while putting this space together.

• The amazingly beautiful cake that matched all of the stationery SO perfectly!
• Working directly with Rachael to layout some really nice flat lays
• Networking with the sweetest people we’ve ever met!

 We had the best time collaborating with other vendors that were all working to accomplish the same task – to present your very best self and to make connections, while capturing stunning images to share. Attending a styled shoot where everyone worked together so seamlessly was an absolute dream, and we are so thankful to have met everyone who helped that day!
